I was searching for a zinc based sunscreen and found reef safe thinking it would be the perfect solution. It looks good on paper but unfortunately I find the texture very off-putting. It is so thick it’s hard to spread and regardless of the tint there’s still a slight white sheen which my kids and I get self-conscious about. I’m actively looking for another product to replace - I wanted the size because we need sunscreen everyday but I much prefer the texture and finish of little urchin.
I need a sunscreen that can handle some serious water time. This stuff is the real deal. It stays on for my entire session, no matter how many waves I catch and it doesn't run into my eyes and sting.
Finding a sunscreen that works under makeup is a challenge. My foundation applies flawlessly over the top. No pilling, no greasiness.
My wife bought this and made me try it. And you know what? It's actually brilliant. It's not greasy like my old sunscreen, and it doesn't have that chemical smell. I was surprised at how well it rubbed in. I'm a convert. Happy wife, happy life, and happy skin!
